Three Diseases Fund

On 01 June, the Three Diseases Fund has closed the deadline for Expressions of Interest (EOI) in Round II grants targeting local organizations. The Fund Manager undertook a desk review of these EOI, in order to issue a short-list of pre-qualified projects during the month of July 2008.

Requests for Proposal (RfP) will be sent directly to short-listed organizations, and a letter of regrets to those agencies that are not included in this round.

The dates below are tentative depending on when the Requests for Proposals will be issued.

The deadline for presentation of detailed proposals based on the initial EOI and Fund Manager's requirements will be during the second week of September 2008. An independent panel of experts should review these proposals from 22 September.

The announcement of grant recipients is planned a month later in October 2008 with signature of cooperation agreements for one year planned in December 2008.
