Members of 3DF Fund Board visit a malaria volunteer reached only by boat in the Myiek Archipelago, Southern Myanmar. The activity is run by 3DF partner, the Myanmar Medical Association. The Fund Board The Fund Board (FB) takes responsibility, on behalf of the Donor Consortium, to: i) maintain a policy dialogue with the Coordination Body for the three diseases; ii) monitor the risk assessment; iii) commission (and be involved in) external mid-term and final reviews of the Fund; and iv) receive the Fund's annual reports and audits. The FB is comprised of four donor representatives and three independent experts, with the CEO of the Fund Manager acting as non-voting secretary. The chair is a senior donor representative, on a rotational basis. In addition, the FB assesses the national strategies, programmes and operational plans as a basis for allocation of resources and will identify, if necessary, additional outputs and activities.
