In 2007-2008, the Fund has granted total US$43 million to 34 projects implemented by international and local non-governmental organizations and five UN agencies.

A Round II targeting a variety of independent local and community-based organizations started in January 2009. Total US$700,000 are earmarked for this round.

A Round III to supplement and scale up services funded in Round I was launched on 13 July 2009.

As all projects funded in Round I have entered in their third and fourth year of operations, grant disbursements amount to some US$73 million, end 2009.
