Where the road stops, malaria begins

Myanmar has the highest malaria burden in Southeast Asia with 29.14 % of a population of 56 million at high risk and 23.75 % at moderate risk, this among seasonal migrants, farmers, miners, forest workers in coastal areas and forest hills. In residential areas, children and pregnant women are the most vulnerable groups.
